Home Remedies for Ringworm



Ringworm is a condition of fungus infection on the skin. As it appears as round or ring like in its shape, it is called ring worm. Pets such as dogs and cats are source of transmitting this disease to humans. Though ringworm is common in children, It can affect anybody.


Causes of Ringworm
  1. Through cuts and scratches on the skin
  2. Pets such as dogs and cats
  3. Affects in areas where there is a sweating.
  4. Under unhygienic conditions such as the use of unwashed clothes, sharing combs of infected people etc.,
  5. Swimming pools

Home Remedies for Ringworm



Rub a slice of fresh raw papaya on the area.


 
Make a paste with mustard powder and apply this paste on the patch till  disappears. 



Apply the juice of basil leaves (tulsi) on the patch for 2 to 3 times a day.



Smash few pieces of garlic and rub it on the patch daily till the patch disappears.



Make a paste of vinegar and salt and apply it directly onto the patch and leave it on for five minutes. Try to continue this method till the patch disappears completely.



Apply lavendar oil onto the affected area daily. This oil not only stop fungi from developing but also kills the infection.



Add few drops of tea tree oil in a cotton ball and apply it directly on to the patch. Repeat this process 3 times a day until the infection goes away.


Note: Do not expect these home remedies to show immediate results. Depending on the skin condition, this may take anywhere from weeks to months if practiced daily.
